Shredding documents is a secure way to discard important papers that are no longer needed while protecting yourself from identity theft. It’s also an excellent way to get rid of old school work, bringing in a fresh new school year for the kids.  \n\n### SHREDDING TIPS:  \n\n- Remove metal binders and binder clips before arriving (paper clips and staples are\nacceptable). No Wet Paper!  \n- Please do not bring your paper in a plastic bag. This slows the process down as the\nbag must be ripped open and inspected before disposing of the paper. Please\ntransport it loosely inside a box and the box will be returned to you.  \n- There is no need to shred your used paper before dropping it off.  \n- Due to safety concerns, we are unable to allow residents to park and watch\ndocuments shredded.  \n- Sort your electronic waste before you load it into your vehicle to ensure it is separate\nfrom all paper.  \n- Load your boxes of paper first, then load any electronic waste in your vehicle last.  \nElectronic waste will be the first to be unloaded.\n\n### E-Waste Disposal  \n\nElectronic Recycling will provide a truck and the manpower to safely remove computer-\nrelated electronics from your vehicle.  \n\nPlease Note: the following items **will NOT be accepted:**  \n\n- Batteries\n- Floor copiers, printers, and multipurpose\n- Florescent tubes  \n- Hazardous waste  \n- CRT monitors  \n- Items containing freon  \n- Kitchen and bathroom appliances  \n   (including microwaves)\n- Light bulbs\n- Oils\n- Paints\n- Speakers\n- Televisions\n- Vacuum cleaners\n- Hard drives\n- CDs\n- Film Reels","minHeight":null,"id":"334"}]}}},"pageContext":{"id":"179"}},"staticQueryHashes":["3068361533","3353957978","3649515864","63159454"]}
